Front desk staff were very nice, check in & out was quick & easy. Room was decently clean and everything worked correctly, but was a little rough around the edges (fraying carpet, stained curtains, top of the desk chair was peeling). There was a noticeable stale/musty odor in the room.

The room was clean and spacious. However, there was a very strong odor. We opened the window to air out the room, but the smell did not go away. I had to sleep with a cover over my head the whole night because of the strong odor. I think the smell comes from old carpet

Perfect for a cheap stop-over with my family. We stay here almost every time we pass through Mount Vernon. Comfy beds, clean room, good service, and great location. Breakfast is only okay, but that’s what I expect from an inexpensive stop-over hotel. Absolutely worth staying for the price.
