I was a little concerned about renting a basement unit, but this was perfect and the hosts were wonderful. The amenities, location, and view were all amazing. The apartment was clean, the rooms were a great size, the kitchen well enough equipped, the icemaker was a pleasant surprise for our day trips, the porch swing and rocking chairs were well used in the evenings. We loved it and would come back in a heartbeat.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations on every level! First of all, the views from this home are amazing! I could sit on the porch swing for hours and just take in the views and peaceful feeling I felt there. The interior of the home is immaculate and very comfortable with a huge tv and WiFi. I love that the owners provided a full Kureg coffee bar that included creamer and sugar! They also left us a sweet treat which was a nice surprise. The kitchen has everything you can imagine and there’s also a very nice separate laundry room. There was plenty of nice laundry detergent available but we used our own. There is one queen size bed that we found very comfortable. Our college aged son opted to sleep on the couch in the living room but there is a twin size pull-out available in the one bedroom. We didn’t open this up so I can’t speak to its comfort. I do know my son slept great on the couch! Overall, this is one of the nicest, most comfortable VRBOs we have ever stayed in, within this price range. I hate to even share this (because I want to keep it a secret ) but this home is also very close to the JMU campus which made it super convenient for us to go back and forth to the school while we attended various events with our freshman son. Our family will definitely be returning to this VRBO in the future!!
