The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge food was ok. The overall feeling was that the place was in need of an upgrade. It was just not what we were expecting so we left early.

Rooms were clean and spacious and as described. Bed was comfortable and came with clean sheets. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The on-site restaurant, Tierney's Cavern, serves a variety of delicious food, and is conveniently located on the first floor of the lodge.

The trails were amazing. We only did the X Cave because the 4 yr old not sure he liked it. There was so much to do. Putt putt, trails, the pool caves, watching the wildlife not be afraid to show theirself. Within 15 min at the resort deer were appearing at the back side off our balcony. Squirrels, racoons the birds were bright and vibrant. Amazing trip all together.

Couldn’t sleep as the bed was so uncomfortable. The pillows were hard and the sheets didn’t even smell clean. The entire place needs updated.

This place was perfect for our stay to explore Carter caves state park! We were looking for something close and convenient to hit the trails and this place was it! You stay in the center of all the trails so we were able to very easily access all of them! Staff was wonderful, very kind and helpful. The rooms were very pleasant to stay in as well. I will for sure be coming back in the future 👍

Requested a room on upper level, they made it happen! Clean, quiet, nice little deck. Close to everything at Carter caves. Swimming pool included with stay! Kids and I are having a blast. Only complaint is that the Toilet seat could use replacing. Very very old.

Absolutely love everything, the hiking, the caves, swimming, fishing, friendly staff, the rooms were comfortable and clean. Only downfall were rooms above, could hear every step made across floor and walkway. Buffet was amazing, Prices are absolutely great for a vacation to beautiful scenery. I would recommend to all. The room was good for the price. One thing that bothered me was the mattress did not have a mattress cover on it. Also, my 11 month old crawled on the floor and his knees were black.
