Very nice clean and cozy property with small kitchen that we didn't use and washer/dryer. I would carry detergent sheets or tablets if you plan to do laundry. There Sunset views were incredible. The shower left there while bathroom wet as it is not well designed but it meet our needs and didn't take away from this being a great stay.

We stayed at a Garden Deluxe Bungalow which had view of other bungalows. Bungalow is basic and nothing fancy but was sufficient for two people. It has ample supplies of TP and we purchased Nepresso pods at front desk at 100 XFP each. Room was clean but the flooring needed some upkeep. It also has a small kitchen, washer and dryer. Location was close to various restaurants nearby. I would recommend Residence Moorea Sunset Beach based on it provided basic necessities with decent price point.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The bungalows were super cute. The beach was beautiful. Restaurants near by. Loved our stay. Will be back longer next time.

Wonderful place!

We had a very pleasant stay at Sunset Beach Residence in Moorea. The location is excellent — very convenient and right next to a beautiful lagoon. The property is peaceful and well-maintained, and we especially enjoyed the tennis court and the large outdoor terrace. Our unit was well equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, and a fully functional kitchen, which made our stay very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only small downside is that coffee is not provided and needs to be purchased separately. Overall, it was a great stay and we would happily return in the future.

Our bungalow was spotless. The staff were helpful. The location was good. Our main complaint is that it is advertised as on the beach with beach views. Our bungalow was next to the road and most in the complex were a 2-4 min walk from the beach. We felt it was misleading. If this isn’t important to you, you will love it here.

I love how we were able to walk to the beach, have breakfast there and book any aquatic or ATV activities. Walking to restaurants at night was a little different because it was dark, but we had two phones to iluminate road. I would stay here again.

We rented beach bungalow, one of the most expensive bungalows as it is directly on the beach. The unit itself was great however there were no food containers for left overs, which was surprising considering this is a fully contained unit. The other disappointment was the view, as there was a line of shrubs blocking the ocean view, unless you were standing up.

Bungalow was clean and had all we needed. Big plus for washer and dryer! Cons:AC only in main bedroom, fans in upper level not effective. Make sure to get there exactly as communicated with reception otherwise they will call you ( we were there 420 pm instead of 4 pm and they called and emailed us plus somehow passive aggressive rushed welcome on arrival. Grounds not well maintained. Not great beach area. Would not stay again!!!!

This is a great airbnb-like place. Easy check in and check out. Great location with a small beach right on the property. You can rent a small boat and, i think, a kayak and explore. Very close to a couple of small islands you can reach on your own, as well as to a shark / stingray hangout area. Rooms are perfectly sufficient with bedroom, living room, kitchen. Easy and abundant parking. I think there are a couple of things that will make it 5 stars. First, bed is pretty small and not very comfortable. Better mattress and pillows maybe? Also, no housekeeping for stays under 5 nights is fine, but would be nice to have some basics in the kitchen, like papertowels, and laundry pods in the laundry room. Also, towel refresh every couple of days would be nice. I know those basics can be purchased at the front desk amd you can change towels for a fee, but that feels a little off, like a budget airline. Spoils overall impression. Just raise room rates by a few dollars and make it a totally hassle free vacation.

Excellent location with rooms a very short walk to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen made cooking in the room easy, and in room laundry was very convenient. There is no housekeeping during the stay which can be tough on a longer stay, particularly the beach towels. Room was very basic but clean and comfortable enough.
