Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature overlooking Cunningham's gap on the outskirts of the Scenic Rim. Just 25 mins to Rosewood and 30 mins to Kalbar. This little cottage from the 1820's is your home away from home. All set up for romantic stays or a small family getaway.

Inside you will find a fully renovated cottage with 3 bedrooms, a beautiful cosy lounge with fireplace and a stunning new country kitchen fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Enjoy a morning coffee on the front deck and enjoy a wine or beer on the back deck whilst cooking on the Weber BBQ. We have also just welcomed two highland cows to the Springfield family, Bert & Ernie. For extended family stays please see our neighbouring property "Stay in Arygle Country Escape"

Note: due to recent rain events there are some patches along Rosevale Rd that are under repair.
Further Note: Telstra phone service works 100%. Starlink Wifi available but you will have limited reception with Optus & Vodaphone. Please also note the property has cattle fencing but not dog fencing, your pet can however be secured on the back deck should you need to. We supply firewood and most basics. This includes Nespresso pod coffee, selection of teas, sugar, milo and a couple of treats. We also have salt, pepper, oil, tomato and bbq sauce, paper towel, toilet paper, foil and cling wrap. In bathrooms we have body wash, shampoo & conditioner.

Springfield Cottage stay
Thank you so much for the most beautiful 4 day stay in your little piece of paradise. The cottage is absolutely perfect. So lovingly restored and furnished with a seamless blend of old country charm and modern style and convenience. Beds were super comfortable Everything so well thought through… besides food and drink, there is nothing more for you to bring! Mel you were amazing with communication. Even got to greet the new fur babies - 2 little highland cows! We just loved sitting around the fire pit watching the sunsets or just swing in the hammock with a book. The kids adored Tom Tom and Ruby and they were fed multiple times a day. There is so much for them to do and just perfect for a tech free getaway. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The best way to see in my 50th year! I’ve already recommended to friends and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much!

Perfection
Just wow. An immaculate home in a private location. The homestead is beautiful - a mix of old and new, which is perfectly blended. We loved the mid cons throughout the house. There are large bedrooms, beautifully covered verandas, and plenty of space to gather together or sit under a tree to take some time out. Time in the hammocks listening to nature was pure bliss! We particularly loved our time spent under the stars and around the fire pit. A perfect combination to relax, connect and recharge. We encountered plenty of wildlife on the property including kangaroos, wallabies and a wide range of birds. A wander around the property also provided a wonderful view of the scenic rim mountains. The owners also provided excellent communications from booking to check out. Very responsive and welcoming. We cannot rate our experience highly enough.

Peaceful beautiful cottage
The minute we walked through the doors of Springfield we were all in love. The cottage is stunning throughout. The luxurious master ensuite with bath is amazing and the rest of the cottage does not disappoint. Everything you could need is provided by the owners. Outside there is much to enjoy with resting hammocks, a fire pit and activities for children to enjoy. As we were a bigger group we also rented Argyle next door, a short walk away. With its close proximity to Lake Moogerah we could enjoy a day boating then return to the beautiful cottage to relax in peaceful surrounds. The owners are wonderful to communicate with ensuring your stay is a memorable one. We look forward to returning.
