Infested with bugs - Would not recommend staying here
When we checked into the property there were hundreds of dead and alive bugs all over the property. There were bugs in some of the beds and all corners of the house.There was also mouldy food left in the fridge and cupboards.One of the members of our group has a fear of bugs and was unable to sleep in the property. We were forced to book them alternative accommodation.Vlad, the property manager, was adamant his team had cleaned the apartment the morning of the arrival. We think that he lied to us because there is no way a cleaner could have missed that many bugs. He sent a cleaner the next afternoon, but when we arrived back from our work trip there were still bugs in most corners of the house.The property manager offered to cover a portion of the additional room we booked for one of our group, but these communications broke down after a receipt from another website was not accepted as 'official'. I have called the hotel we booked and they were unable to provide an invoice as payment was made through the website.In the end no discount was offered. Staying here made our trip to Montreal miserable and more expensive than if we had booked another property.A note that some of the upstairs bedrooms have glass doors which means you can see into them from the hallway. There are no curtains for privacy.I can not recommend to book this property.
