Other than on the weekend the breakfast was easily accessible and very sufficient. The rooms were large and clean and the hotel staff very professional. Easy walking distance to Old Montreal and “Chinatown” is right by the hotel. Great food.

Perfect location

A fabulous 4 night stay with a pleasant staff, substantial breakfast included, small gym, pet friendly, beautiful roof pool, lovely lobby and spacious modern rooms. Our room had a small window which didn’t bother us as we weren’t in the room much so if you need a bigger one be sure to ask. It’s at the start of Chinatown, and shirt walking distance to old town and St. Catherine’s street. It is a block away from a homeless mission which I read about in a review but it can be avoided by walking to another street/s to get to old town.

The hotel is lovely and clean but in an area of Montreal that could use some cleaning up. You can walk a couple blocks around the area but be prepared to do so. Emergency vehicles are dispatched to this area many times during the night and day with sirens blazing. The restaurant in the hotel that was recommended by the check in staff forgot our order, sloppily put it together, was rude upon delivery an hour and a half later and still we had to pay full price. The restaurants name was called Tiramisu. Please dont waste your money here.

They had a nice restaurant attached Tiramusu. So we didn’t have to even leave the hotel for dinner. Breakfast was ok nothing special. The area around the hotel was tent city. Tons of homeless people that live and sleep on the street. Eating out of garbage cans Very sad and was hard to have a vacation knowing so many homeless . We did bring food for some. The city should really step in and help them.

Hampton Suites is located on the main road (St Laurent) that's about 10mins walking distance from the Palais des arts. The area is safe even if you're outside late at night.

The hotel is really nice but I was quoted 864 dollars for my stay and was billed 967 dollars. When I checked out I was never given a receipt. I tried calling about the bill and was put on hold and then disconnected. Not happy

I booked this hotel based on it's proximity to the old district and Chinatown (food!) and my choice did not disappoint. One of the main gates to the Chinatown district is right outside the lobby, and there is no shortage of great restaurants, bubble tea spots, and gift shops. Old Montreal is an easy 10-15 walk away. The real star of the show had to be the staff I encountered during my stay. All the desk agents- especially Ly- went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Using their text service, i mentioned my pillows were uncomfortable. I came back to my room and found two alternative pillows. They also provided recommendations for places to eat and a day trip outside of the city. The free breakfast each morning made life so much easier and had great options like oatmeal, chia pudding, waffles, eggs, and more. So glad I chose this hotel and would easily recommend!
