Well last year my rental was stolen in another hotel not far from this location, so I was very pleased with your secure parking. Seeing I actually had mine own vehicle on this trip . Will definitely stay here again once the price is right.

Great location and clean, renovated property Hampton by Hilton Montreal has a great location near the Old Montreal area — we could easily walk there. The property was very clean and looked recently renovated. We had a room with a king bed (no sofa), which was fine for us as we were two adults. The room included a galley kitchen equipped with a fridge, stovetop, oven, microwave, and kitchen cabinets stocked with dishes, pots, and pans. It was a nice feature, especially for guests who might want to cook or eat in their room. However, the only odd thing was that there was no table or seating area for dining. It felt strange to have a kitchen setup but no place to sit and eat — unless the intention was for guests to eat on the bed, which didn’t seem ideal.

Great location!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Room abit small but worked for our needs and location great. Walking distance to old Montreal and it's shops/restaurants. The hotel breakfast was better than most hotels with a great variety. Would absolutely recommend this hotel!!

We stayed 3 nights for vacation. Umm, no briefing when we check-in, the staff expected we should read the card for like breakfast time. Next day, we went out at early morning and went back before 3pm, our room did not clean. Front desk explained to us that housekeeping service from 9am-5pm. Well, we just got some towels. The day after, we went out before 11am and backed to hotel after 6pm, OUR ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED YET!!! We went to front desk however the staff said we put a DND sign, huh?!!! Do you mean before 11am? The staff said can only arrange for trash and change towels coz housekeep staff was off, the staff recommended we stay in the room. As we prefer not there so he said it will only take 15 mins. Unfortunately, after 40 mins, OUR ROOM WAS STILLING NOT CLEANED YET!!! so we went to the front desk again, the staff apologize and said will arrange someone to do it now. We waited at the lobby for the cleaning. After 20 mins later, I can't see the staff we approached before, so we can only talked to another one The staff didn't feel sorry, just said he couldn't find any record of our issue in the system. When I tried to tell him the story he said "you are first time tell me about it" What?!!! What's the conversation here??? It's talking about we waited for over an hour for a general house keeping service. It's really disappointed and made me angry during stay.

We had a great long weekend at the Hampton Inn. The location was fantastic and a really easy walk to a couple different metro stops. Also really close to Vieux Montreal and the location just inside Chinatown was fantastic for easy access to restaurants. We didn’t get to try everything we wanted to and will definitely stay here on a return visit. In terms of comfort, it was very clean and well maintained. The bed was relatively firm and comfortable, but we both hated the pillows (too soft). That’s just a personal preference thing though, and we did appreciate that they were happy to get us extra pillows when we asked. The breakfast was extensive and very good. There were premade omelets, sausage or bacon, tater tots, a taco bar, make your own waffle station that included chocolate chips and some different sauces, bread/bagels/English muffins for toast, muffins and some sort of sweet-looking pound cake type thing, oatmeal with a variety of toppings (nuts, dried fruit, etc), cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit/fruit salad, and of course, really good croissants. I may be forgetting a few items but really there was plenty to choose from and the staff did an excellent job keeping things stocked and clean. An added bonus was that parking was available right when we arrived (late morning) so we could leave our car and go out. The garage is secured and we felt very safe leaving our car. Make sure you get the ticket from the front desk before you park. We even got to check in early!

Check in staff were excellent. Bedding were dirty, the replaced “cleaned” one was dirtier, bathroom was super clean. Breakfast was over crowded, small, and understaff, we waited around for eggs/ seat for 15 minutes. The breakfast staff need a raise - they work hard. I almost fell at the uneven entrance.

We had a 3 night stay, room was clean and check in was easy. The issues seemed to start there, there wasn’t any hand soap in the room so on our way out we stopped by reception to ask for some. Got so much attitude from a staff member for the simple request of hand soap, they acted like they did not know what that was and offered a pump of their hand sanitizer. Eventually sent up to our room more body wash and face soap. Bought our own hand soap. The area around the property is not safe, a lot of very scary seeming people hang around all the time and approach you asking for money as you leave the hotel. For the 4 days we were there they only cleaned our room once on the third day. We were out from morning to night so it seems they just don’t clean daily. Called several times to get room cleaned, would be told someone would come and then no one ever did. When calling to get towels replaced, it always took at least an hour and second phone call. Overall bad service, don’t clean rooms and unsafe area.
