Cozy Two Bedroom Lakeview Cabin 1

Two Bedroom cabin that has 2 full beds and 1 futon. Full kitchen including refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, and cooking/eating utensils. Living room has a Roku TV ( you just need to sign in to your favorite streaming site). Outside patio overlooking the lake, with seating and an outside grill (lighter fluid and charcoal will need to be purchased). We are a pet friendly resort, there is a $50.00 one time pet fee. GUESTS NEED TO BRING LINEN AND TOWELS FOR THEIR STAY, THE RESORT DOES NOT PROVIDE THIS COMPLIMENTARY. The beds will all have mattress covers and pillows are provided, but sheets, blankets, wash cloths, bath towel, swim towels, etc. are the guests responsibility. All guests staying at our resort can utilize our resort amenities - heated pool, boat docks, communal fire pits, basketball hoop, volleyball net and (2) playgrounds.We do have a general store where you can pick up camping essentials, such as toiletries, snacks, fishing gear, ice, etc.
Welcome to the Outrigger Resort, a family owned and operated lake resort in Monticello, Indiana. Choose from 3 lakefront cabins and 20 other recently updated cozy cabins. The resort is located within walking distance of Indiana Beach Amusement Park and has 170+ feet of water frontage on Lake Shafer. A normally constant level lake that offers ideal conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet skiing, swimming, fishing. There are many activities for family fun here at Outrigger Resort. A heated swimming pool, dock for fishing, 5+ boating docks, basket ball hoop, corn hole, kids play set, and a large shaded lawn for games and picnics or cookouts. *** Guests do need to bring bedding ( sheets and blankets) and towels for their stay.

I wouldn’t board my dog here!
The cleaning service leaves a lot to be desired! While putting our sheets on the bed, we found a candy wrapper, a slim Jim wrapper, a pack of cigarettes & a lighter, and a used condom under the mattress! DISGUSTING!!! The side of the refrigerator was caked with grease. And there was no light inside of the refrigerator. The water smelled like rotten eggs. The cabin smelled like mold. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. There were dead bugs on the window sills. The floors were Sandy and something resembling gum was stuck on the bedroom floor. The cable tv service (ROKU) was beyond frustrating. We were supposed to stay 4 nights. Crazily we stayed the first 2 nights, then hightailed out of there the 2nd morning. I will be calling the manager tomorrow morning. I believe they owe me a refund. And I am very disappointed in VRBO.
