We had an amazing experience. Katie at the front desk really helped us out and explained the ease of parking nearby or vallet and all the places around. It's a Historic Hotel so the regular rooms are a tad tight, def worth upgrading to a larger room. We stayed in the King Suite and for the price you can't beat it. We had a beautiful view of the Marina. Everything is close, we never drove once. We tried so many great restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee shops, doughnut shops you name it. The Marina is a 5 min walk. Such a fantastic trip. Def will want to come back. If you like history, being close to everything, and good pricing stay here!

Great location and very atmospheric. Staff were excellent . I had to make a room change because I needed a mini fridge for some medication and they were really helpful . A 1904 hotel that has seen some things and is a little shabby in places but still a really nice stay at a non-corporate hotel in a beautiful city.

$386 in surprise costs. Room not cleaned, no clean towels in 3 nights. Inconvenient, outdoor passage (in the rain!) to historic portion of the hotel. No restaurant. Paid almost $600 in advance for 3 nights, then hit with $386 additional. Could have done better for that much money,

The hotel was great the beds were comfortable and it was close to the venue and Monterey bay aquarium. Plenty of Restraunts in walking distance from hotel. Mostly peaceful after 11. Just don’t go when they have there marathon you will here noise all night long.

The room is classic and clean, very adequate with what we need , closet is surprisingly large. The hotel’s location is very convenient, morning coffe and tea is a nice touch and the reception staff is very nice and helpful, shoutout to Shannon, very professional. We will stay again when we visit Monterey in the future.

Beautiful hotel, had a nice questions historical feel. The front desk lady was very nice, check in went smoothly. There's no parking on the premises, but we found parking just around the corner that was free overnight, just be careful to look for signs about when it becomes ticketed/timed (the spot we found became 90 min parking at 9am). We had a very pleasant stay! Left the ghosts a little offering of some chocolate but they didn't even take any, they were very friendly and made us feel right at home. Only thing they messed with was logging in to a website on our phone-such silly gooses. Shout out to Dapper Dan, he definitely elevated our stay, couldn't have picked a better ghost to share our room with. Love you bud <3 top hat looks incredible on you
