The room was cool and quiet, the food amazing, and the customer service when we needed it really went above and beyond! One point off for the noise factor at mealtimes- it was next to impossible to sit and enjoy a meal with my spouse without our conversation getting lost in the noise and music around us. The Italian restaurant was the only quiet meal we had, and we went there on our last night. Still, it was a beautiful and spacious place and we’d definitely go back.

Breakfast was mid at best. Food items were not kept stocked. Long waits for food items to be re-stocked. Good luck getting any fruit. Staff cooking the food were rude and acted like they hated there job. The overall food experience was lacking even at the nicest reservation only restaurants. I would give the food two stars. The room was well stocked and clean. The bar staff had a pretty good attitude. The beach staff also had a good attitude and were very helpful.

Great food selection, room service , great vibes, only thing is there wasn’t much partying here. If you’re just looking to relax with a sufficient other or family this is the spot. But Riu Republica is better for 20s-30s people

The food was ok. I was expecting a full service dining experience and not a buffet style. Everything else was exceptional. The staff at the restaurants and bars were friendly and accommodating. The entertainment staff was top notch. They had so much energy and they would never walk by without saying hello or asking if everything is going well. A few of them even stopped and sat with us for a while just to chat it up. Amazing staff. Amazing energy. I’m definitely coming back again soon. I don’t remember much names but one of the ladies said she’s the baddest “bleep”. She was so nice to us. She sat with us and we had a nice conversation right before the game on Thursday night.

Overall, this location was great! The amenities and property were well kept, a the staff was polite. The only thing that kept me from rating this all stars is the food, which was very subpar.
