The food was good, the rooms were clean, wonderful beach. Smaller, dated hotel. However, smaller size makes everything on-site easily accessible. The down side - guests housed in buildings one and two are going to be bambarded with noise which begins at seven am on the band stand broadcast speakers, and continues until ten pm. Our first evening, the noise of music and a large group screaming and cheering continued until 2:30 am. Day two we moved to another building to get evening peace and quiet. Buildings 5, 6, & 7, are quiet. Security was excellent everywhere. My wife and I left the hotel on three occasions and felt safe. Dont belive what you hear or read about poor safety. Don't go looking for a problem, and you won't find one.

Our room 1106, was right next to passage where ALL employees passed. All day and night. From moving furniture, to transferring food and anything back and forth, to staff yelling and being extremely loud all thru the night! Phone was stuck on redial, and would not stop calling someone, had to take phone off the hook. Called front desk numerous times, tv was not working at all. Was assured they would soon be there. Never came. Very disappointing visit

It was a typical Holiday Inn. Nothing special. Everything from food to entertainment was just mediocre. The grounds are beautiful. It’s old and really needs some upgrading. Most of the bartenders were not very friendly, even if you were tipping well. They were not happy to make a drink unless it was a premade frozen drink or a beer. One huffed when he was asked to make a mixed drink. Food? You won’t starve. Always can find something to eat.
