Most of the staff need to have better customer service. This is an all inclusive hotel, but they charge you for room service. THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!

The friendliness of all the staff. The variety of entertainment nightly, the variety of restaurants, featuring different cuisines and the buffet selection was excellent. We had an excellent time.

Greetings. I visited this resort in 2018. I returned because of the remarkable place it was and all of it's amenities. I was told it was under a new management and company. It is clearly a different place. The activities daily were great and many of the staff who worked to make it enjoyable did an outstanding job. Unfortunately this was my second time but my last time.

Nightmare check in

Check in was a nightmare. They were completely unorganized and had people waiting 45 minutes to check in. And then once checked in we along with everyone else were told we had to come back for our keys, which took another 30 minutes

We loved our stay! Many of the staff members were friendly and accommodating, which made us feel very welcome. Our room, however, was connected to what seemed to be an adjoining family room, and unfortunately, we could hear all of their conversations. This affected the overall quiet and privacy we were hoping for. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Now our favorite spot to stay in Jamaica

We had a fantastic stay. Customer service was great. We loved that the resort not too large and so we could easily walk to different areas of it as needed. Perhaps the best part though was the food, in particular the Jamaican food. We were impressed with the variety of Jamaican dishes available. Everything was delicious and we never ran into any issues with food running out at any of the eating areas (which is usually a common issue we run into when we visit Jamaica)

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The room was cleaned daily, and having a balcony with a glass enclosure was a nice touch—but the bathroom could use an upgrade. The tub/shower was very outdated, the sink had a crack, and the entire room needed a deeper clean. However, whatever they used to clean the rooms was amazing. Shout out to O’Neil for the power walk even though it had 7 hills to climb. The route he chose was absolutely amazing as well as his knowledge of the layout. I also wish Mangoes had more plant-based lunch options beyond veggie patties, burritos, and salad. Most activities were fun, but the family sing-along, mixer, and nightclub missed the mark. The sing-along lacked kid-friendly and varied songs, and the club music didn’t draw a crowd until the final night—more balance between Jamaican and American music would help. During the family mixer, only the staff danced while kids played games. Read the room and adjust—if no one’s dancing, switch it up and encourage participation!
