This was my third visit with my family. The convenience from the airport to the hotel is great especially having 2 toddlers. However, unlike my last 2 visits the service at the hotel declined tremendously. We had no wash cloths, iron or remote for the television. The phone in the room did not work. The food at the restaurant especially the Jamaican and seafood was horrible. We waited for over 45 minutes at the seafood restaurant before being served. I ordered the birthday celebration package and cabana for my son’s birthday and was told everything would be set up and ready by 10am. I got there at almost 1030 to surprise my son and nothing was done. The representative did not have a record of my reservation. The package included; cake, wine, balloons and chocolate covered fruits. Thankfully I brought my own balloons and decorations as none was provided. We also did not get chocolate covered fruits, but had to pay full price for the package at checkout. I am having a difficult time deciding if I should ever return to the hotel. The shows were good as well as the spa, but my other experiences were horrible and has left me feeling very disappointed.

Recently stayed for my daughter’s 18th birthday and I was overall satisfied, but there are some things that could be improved. The property is very beautiful and we were upgraded to a suite which was an added bonus.The buffet should have more options and the availability in the restaurants should be more flexible. Nevertheless there were some employees who went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. Annastayca Senior exemplifies exceptional customer service and was amazing in ensuring that we had everything we needed. She is the best. Your housekeeper Verbette James tended to our every need and request with a smile. She does an exceptional job. Vinesha at the sports bar not only took care of us but she took care of everyone around us. She epitomizes exceptional customer service. Chantal was great everyday at breakfast. Jon at the buffet was engaging personable and made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Ingrid Grant took great care of us excellent customer service. Al-Jeroque started off good but service became lackluster do better. But the worst service I received was from the bar behind the kids pool. Kadan Hamilton was rude everytime I encountered him. He appeared to be irritated by my presence and me ordering. At one point I was ignored and he took someone else order who came after me. If I could rate him I would give him a negative zero. This was not once but every encounter rude and dismissive . Mclaren was not friendly either. They need to do better.

What an experience we had. I don’t want to oversell it because this was our first all inclusive. We usually prefer the freedom of booking multiple places, renting a car, adventures, etc. Booking an inclusive and on top of that booking The Grand Palladium is a game changer. More than anything the culture and the staff make it worthwhile. Everyone is kind and welcoming and genuinely want you to experience everything Jamaica has to offer. We stayed for five days and have to say if we ever want a stress free no thinking kind of vacation we will 100% go all inclusive again. Thank you to all the staff that made our vacation memorable. Food, excursions, beaches, and quality of the rooms are all pluses. We will 100% be back!
