The property is very run down. My first room was not clean, The shower was not working properly. Couldn’t call down to the front desk because there was no phone in the room. Then some of the staff was really rude for no reason. I had to constantly ask for clean towels. The beach across the street closes at a certain time and it cost money to access the beach. OMG ridiculous.

If you want a real relax jamaican experience come here. This is our second time here, and is gets better evey year. The staff are amazing, and the food is authentic to jamaica. Beach access to dotors cave is amazing, and Peir1 is a must visit. Right on the hip strip great for shopping or just a walk. I would highly recommend see you soon.

Everything was good. Location, room, food, staff etc. This is my new spot to stay when I come to JA. You get the same that you would get at a more expensive resort for wayyy less here. Loved it! I would have given all 5 stars but one of the kitchen staff ruined it, she didn’t smile had an attitude the whole time, her face already set up to look upset so she should smile. They accommodated me with my baby except her, she reminds me of a sergeant, Marie and the others were awesome, extremely helpful.

Honestly Deja resort needs some serious work. Now you don’t need to be a sandals but why is the toilet so dirty. With lines in the toilet bowl which clearly says it hasn’t been cleaned in forever. The walls are peeling, the ac creates puddles of water, I had bugs in my bathroom, the paint dirty. Deja. Seriously. A face lift is desperately needed. I ended up here because it was the only room available both at the resort and in the area and wow did I not enjoy my stay. I hope the right person sees this. I have pictures of what I saw but this doesn’t allow me to upload it. The only saving grace here is, the chef can cook event though it is limited options, and the staff are good service. Need to pay them more seeing that’s the only thing quality

From start to finish, our stay at the Deja Hotel was incredible! The staff were beyond welcoming, the room was spotless and spacious, and we had a gorgeous view of the doctor’s cove beach. Breakfast was fresh and full of authentic Jamaican variety. The staff was so friendly and welcoming throughout my entire stay. From check-in to check-out, they made sure my partner and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their kindness really made a difference and made my stay feel more personal. Staff members Nellie and Loretta were the life of the party.I would definitely stay here again!”

Pros: 1.Staff was phenomenol. I liked the fact that everybody treated us well and I did not feel that they were expecting tips (this made me want to even tip more than usual!). 2. Food was great, loved the choices. 3. Calm down areas (chill spots over looking the area) were so welcoming. 4. Drinks were good and not watered down. Cons: I wish more people bought into the entertainment so that we could have some fun in the night. Maybe a karaoke night or Jamaican Trivia night would be good if they don't already have those. Overall: Definitely recommend!

I want to thank deja resort staff and everyone that was involved in putting together the wonderful little concert that went on in July when I visited Jamaica for the first time. Everyone was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and they also always made sure that they helped each other. When doing things around like something as simple as looking for a towel and ensuring that I had everything I needed to go just across the street to the beach, the location in itself is incredibly close to everything needed on the hip strip from clubs to restaurants. You have your pick of lounges and bars,(Pier 1, 27/27,including margaritaville) . Daily breakfast (My favorite: Fruit, a chef station for omelets, fresh juice, like carrot juice with ginger, an assortment of proteins), lunch,dinner. It was great thank you.

Wonderful location with access to Doctors’ Cave Beach. It had an okay price point, availability with clean, comfortable room. Notwithstanding, Roshawn at the front desk and Mary/ Maria is the dining room were very responsive, pleasant, and kind. However, I was hungry everyday of my stay with very little to eat due to very limited food options, despite telling them on arrival that I am a non-dairy, pescatarian (fish-only). I had to settle with only fruits for breakfast (lovely naseberry) and the same dry, fried-to-death battered fish strips everyday for lunch and dinner - unacceptable. On Sunday, July 20, 2025 the Cafe was unmanned for 20 minutes and had only cheese and bacon sandwiches. When I asked for Tuna sandwiches I was told the kitchen is busy preparing lunch. I’ve had to purchase meals elsewhere everyday of my stay and this is supposed to be an all-inclusive hotel. I had a rich, flaky, delicious Blackened Salmon with fresh salad from the Grill at Doctors’ Cave Beach and a wonderful Grilled Salmon with Wild Rice at the Houseboat restaurant in Freeport. and the staff is pleasant enough (minus young lady in the Cafe) but being hungry for 3 days after telling them my food preferences is just unacceptable. Definitely not an all-inclusive for all persons.

The entertainment group was amazing and fun to exchange with. The property was secure and safe. The staff was friendly and treated us like family. The rooms can use a little cosmetic upgrade, but the property was great. The food was good and a good variety of choices, the bar service was great. You need to add ice machines on the floor instead of having to go to the bar for ice.

The staff is incredible. They remember you when you leave and come back. The meals prepared by the Chief are authentic and delicious Jamaican food. The whole facility gives you a nice environmental and Jamaican vibe. They need to add working cardio equipment in the weight room so that people can stay healthy and fit if they choose to during their stay.
