The Jamaican and Japanese restaurants were amazing . Yanique from the Japanese rest. Was a great cook/host! The food in the buffet was amazing as well . The beach was clean, the water was clear and the private island was so nice. The water in the rooms took a few minutes to heat up but that wasn’t a problem for me. The ac worked and had the room very nice and cool. The beds were comfy. The shops have a lot of nice things on grounds. Karaoke was fun ! And water aerobics was fun at the pool. The drinks were flowing and the food was amazing. We had to leaver early due to hurricane Melissa but we will be back. May all the staff and ninps be safe through the storm. Thank you.

Frustrated that we received no Welcome Gift although Expedia asked how we enjoyed it, and frustrated that other guests got a personal staff greeting and tour upon arrival while we got no such thing. Only discovered this day before we were leaving so couldn’t remedy this. Room was clean, staff quickly remedied non-working AC concern. Loved sitting on the beach watching the waves. Many of the breakfast & dinner staff were so wonderful making sure we got service if we needed it, places to sit, coffee, etc. We were definitely taken care of. Will love to return if possible.

The check-in process was long, but when the agent came up to check us in she was very pleasant with a welcoming smile. All the restaurants wss very nice including the spa experience for my birthday. I will be back next year for sure because we had a blast.

I was here for 11 days and for the first time ever I had to go to the counter and get my card reactivated every day until a young man helped me the 8th day. Thankfully he had the sense to activate my card until I checked out. Several of my friends and I saw multiple cockroaches in the Japanese restaurant. I only ate at that restaurant once and it may, or may not be, coincidental but I had a stomach bug for about 24 hours afterwards. My 10-year-old left his travel money out near the TV and it was initially taken (the maid gave it back) so unless you're leaving a tip make sure money is put away. Overall we walked away with some nice memories but I don't think I would particularly want to go back to this resort in Jamaica.

We paid for an oceanfront view and got reviews of nothing but rough and equipment. Half of the resort was shut down due to construction. We were not notified before or after booking which included half of the amenities of the hotel and resort, which is why we chose to stay there we’re not available to us. We had a really poor experience at check-in. Our original room was under construction and the beds weren’t even upper put together so we had to wait around in another hour and to try to get a new room of which we were given a room that was not oceanfront like stated before I had views of the rooftop with all of the ventilation and air-conditioning equipment. Overall, I would say I had very poor service and definitely did not get the vacation we paid for.

Waitress were overallvery good but unfortunately, after parking my car on the hotel property thinking it would be safe. On the return to my car the windscreen was broken. My husband and notified the security team and asked how can this happened whilst we were guest. They told us we parked at our own risk. I have been to several other hotel and this had never happen especially knowing our car was parked on the hotel's car parking. Nonetheless, the food was cold and not alot of choices. Juice were also hot and we had to constantly asking for ice.

The beach was okay. The room needs some facelift. I know the hotel is going through a construction process, and I can't wait to see the end product. Some of the 🍸 staff tend to be rude. The 🐈 seem to roam the hotel like they're the owner. Can't blame them the name Catalonia speak volumes.
