Fairmont - accommodation in Monaco

This was the most expensive hotel stay I’ve ever booked, but it was worth every penny! Le Méridien was the highlight of the hotels during our 7-day trip through southern France and Monaco. Surprisingly, it was also one of the more affordable luxury hotel options we found in beautiful, tiny Monaco. Rooms: We had a beautifully decorated partial-ocean-view room with a large balcony. It easily fit a table and two chairs with room for several more people. The view of the Mediterranean and the dozen or so large yachts floating in front of the hotel was spectacular. The bathroom was lovely and included nice haircare products. Private Beach & Pools: We loved the three pools, which use saline rather than heavily chlorinated water. The private beach was even better! Most lounge chairs had umbrellas, and the sea was crystal clear, with friendly little minnows swimming around us. We lingered there for hours. Bring water shoes—the beach is pebbled rather than sandy. Dining: We ate at three of the hotel’s five restaurants. Each was stunning in its own way, with beautiful décor, breathtaking surroundings, attentive service, and good food. The private beach, gorgeous views, wonderful dining, and exceptional atmosphere made this a truly memorable splurge. I would absolutely stay here again!

Loved the location, pool was fantastic,great water bottle refiller,comfortable

The views and outdoor space were very good. It’s a bit older but that was expected with the price. We were happy to have laundry in the room with a great rack so it dried quickly. We had some miscommunication with breakfast but it wouldn’t deter us from staying, just make sure you confirm. If you are not able bodied, it is challenging with lots of stairs.
