Checked into the hotel, on our way to see my mother, minutes later, found out that my mother broke her leg and needed to get emergency surgery in a different town. Went back to the hotel to ask if possible to get a refund, said NO!! Hadn't even went into the room to drop our luggage off. No companion!!

TV didn't work when I first got to the room but they were able to get it working within two hours. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable for me. Hotel and furnishings are dated. Breakfast area is very small but decent selection of items. Staff were friendly and able to work my TV problem.

It was a good stay at a very convenient location. Their "dog and cat friendly" policy put some bothersome stains on the carpet in our room that we reported upon our arrival.

Small hot water issue but it was ok after an hour or so also slightly inconvenient that they were fillung the hot tub and doing a install of bew flooring in the lobby but the staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable.

The owners are in process of making nice upgrades. Welcoming staff and decent breakfast. We stayed in one of the exterior entrance rooms, which I think are geared more towards people with pets. Even these rooms had some new things: vanity top, huge TV, bedspreads, nice pillows and new door mats (with tags still attached). However, the curtains and tub/shower combo left a little to be desired. It appeared the curtain backing is being chewed full of holes by moth larvae. Still, would return in the future.
