If you have another option, I suggest taking it.

Good: Service was overall good, as was the location. Pool area was nice. Not good - the beds and pillows were rock hard. Cleanliness was iffy (found a contact that was not my wife’s in our bathroom sink). Hotel is dated. Microwave and the drain stopper to have a bath both did not work properly. Tried to use the pool but there 40 kids in the smallish pool with the parents ignoring them (I know, not the hotel’s fault, but have a cap on how many at a time?) both of my boys got trampled in the pool and a toddler had to be saved from drowning by an adult because the parents were too busy talking amongst themselves to keep an eye on the child. Breakfast options were sparse, especially for the packed hotel.

there were too many people smoking in an area where there was food being served we are non smokers and it is very offensive to have to sit in an area where people are smoking missoula is a nonsmoking city (in public) you need to enforce this policy..

The room was dirty. The bed looked like it had already been slept in with hair in the sheets, toothpaste all over the beer like whoever cleaned it had no cares about what the room look like had to get sheets to remake the bed ourselves, so we could sleep in it

Property pretty rough. Exterior in need of paint and repair. Interior slightly better but not great. Strong sewer gas smell constantly coming from bathroom. Front desk sweet and helpful but somewhat confused at check-in.

It was a easy quick revistration because we made reservations for it. We loved the hot tub and the swim pool after driving a long ways it was nice to excercise a bit in the pool and the next day too.

All that is needed

It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness could be better, especially the bathroom floor. This section of town is unfortunately a bit less desirable than other areas of Missoula. Seemed like a number of unsheltered people. Not many businesses nearby either. The hotel staff were very nice. And the breakfast is good.
