Kitchen and living area styled as shown in online pic. Found the bathrooms were less than clean. Mold on shower curtain and around jets in bath tub. Red stains on curtains in primary bedroom. Mattress on bed in primary bedroom very lumpy. Bedside furniture is scratched with finish scratched off on all pieces. Entry wall very scuffed-needs painting. Area on wall in primary bedroom needs repairing and painted. Electrical outlet covers are loose. Floor threshold into rooms are missing pieces. Floor in primary bath needs deep cleaning in corners. Definitely over priced for the condo that was said to be recently renovated. Will not recommend to others.

While we have stayed at Majestic Sun for 7 years we have never encountered a condo in such bad shape, dirty and non updated, every aspect of the unit is disgustingly outdated and dirty and in need of repairs! I will be posting pictures and following up on this unit for sure!

Great location. Bad service

We got the text saying that the room was ready so my wife and I and the kids unloaded all the luggage, toys, groceries, etc and headed up. When we reached the door I got a call saying that the room was actually NOT ready and that we could not enter or take anything in until it was. So it was either lug everything back down and reload into the vehicle or sit outside the door and wait. When we were able to enter the room the floors and rug were still covered with sand and grit. Later on when it was shower and bedtime there was only one wash cloth and zero towels. Both beds were gritty and dirty like maybe the sheets weren’t changed. We called and got one new set and washed the other ourself. My family has stayed at the Majestic Sun numerous times over the last 10 years or so and this is by far the worst service. Still and great location just bad room experience this time

Wretched odor and wet furniture

I vacation in Destin every year and this is the first time I've been completely dissatisfied with the unit I stayed in. There was a horrible odor that you could smell throughout the entire unit. I had to immediately go to the store and buy Febreeze to spray throughout the unit. Unfortunately, even the febreeze could not mask the smell. Every single chair, the sofa and the love seat was extremely damp and smelly, you couldn't sit on them without getting your clothes wet and stinky. There was no place to sit and eat without getting your dry clothes wet. Luckily I was only in the unit for 3 days and I spent most of those 72 hours outdoors. I didn't bother taking the time to make a complaint or try to move to another unit since I knew I would spend too much time on the phone dealing with the issues. That unit needs a MAJOR deep cleaning and could definitely use some new comforters and curtains; as they are extremely worn out, old and faded looking. I used my own linens and comforters that I had brought on the trip with me. The view of the ocean from the balcony was the only plus for this unit. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.
