Complicated Stay
This property is exactly as the online pictures show. Very spacious, comfortable furnishings, great porch with beautiful view and perfect location for Baytowne Wharf. Our 2-night stay would have been perfect except for the AC not cooling the unit. Temperature never went below 77 degrees, although AC was running. With the ceiling fans on and overcast skies so no sun heat, we made do. Our time there was so short (2 nights 1 full day) and precious with friends that I did not request maintenance, although I did text owner it was warm in there when we first went in. He later stated the whole building was affected, but the hallways and unit next door clearly had AC working fine. One of the toilets made crazy noises when flushed (lasted several minutes), one bathroom sink stopper did not work, coffeepot needs upgrade (leaked water and grounds in pot). The unit was very clean, however all six of us experienced extremely dirty feet after walking barefoot inside. Getting all the check in info did not happen till a couple hours before actual check-in, which did make me nervous. Owner was good about communication and did allow an early check-in once Sandestin finally sent the garage code link. Being on the guest end of things and responsible for my party, one of which is disabled in a wheelchair, the whole experience was rather stressful. As I said, the unit is great and you might have a perfect experience, but ours was not.
