Very nice clean room. Everything worked as it was supposed to and we even got a free breakfast. Friendly staff and very helpful in every way. I would highly recommend La Quinta Inn in Bloomington if you are looking for a very nice hotel with reasonable priced rooms. 5 Stars!

I just wanted to say I have never been so disappointed in our stay. My wife had a conference in town, so we reserved a 2 night stay. Ice maker never worked on our floor. Had to go down 2 floors to get ice. Front door of our room didn't lock properly. There was a constant loud humming noise outside our windows all night long, like trucks were loading and unloading. Our phone in the room never worked, had to call front desk from my cell phone. They sounded less than enthused about everything, so they were completely useless. I asked for additional pillows, and they said they only had 1 available and I would need to come down and get it. Stopped on another floor to get ice, and that machine was broken. Went to use the hot tub in the pool area, and that looked like it had not been worked on in weeks. Completely empty. Not to mention the 2 people throwing up in the parking lot as we left, really topped everything off. Put everything in a review I game, and had to choose a star rating. Would have given this a 0 if I could have. Thoroughly disgusted,

Our reservation was for a suite. Not great! TV in living area did not work. The floor lamp in living area did not work. The towel rack in the bathroom was pushed into the drywall leaving a hole in the wall. We changed rooms the next day to a non-suite room. Everything was fine in this room. Was the 2nd room less expensive than the suite? We were not given a receipt when we checked out. On two nights when we returned to our room for the night, the door was propped open, anyone could have walked into our room and taken anything.

Room was very run down and smelled of cigarette smoke. When we turned the heat on (winter here) heater started sizzling and smoking. Would love to send the picture and video of the heater shorting out.

For the price it’s a great hotel! My only complaint is the breakfast buffet it is probably one of the most boring buffets I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Frozen egg Pattie’s and waffles (almost all hotels have these) and cereal that’s about it. With how large the hotel is, you would think there would be way more options.
