I arranged this Trip for my Girlfriend and her Mother, everything was arrange including the credit card authorization for ensuring an easy check in. During her check in a larger party was checking in, for assumably a convention, when she began the process of checking in she was informed the tthe credit card authoritization was not on file. (She was sent the receipt from the digital submission with its confirmation ID) and she was informed she would have to pay the total balance upfront. As this was a surprise trip for her mother we had intended keeping all cost quiet and separate. This is where I had to step in and call to try and solve the problem. I called and spoke to a gentlemen I believe named Dom, he stated that nothing was on record and that further more my card had been declined, i checked the balance of the card live and it simply wasnt possible, when i asked to try again or change payment method, I was told to call back later as he was too busy to handle the problem at this time, and disconnected the call. (My girlfriend who had been waiting for an hour to check in, and was standing with in ear shot of the desk), I attempted to call back twice and had no response on the line both times. Eventually surrendering and sending the funds for the hotel directly to my girlfriend so that they could check in. Only to get charged the following night for the full amount?! Check in was smooth, parking is easy. Room was very nice and clean. Only issue is that you can hear the next room over through the walls and the people next to us were very loud until very late (past midnight).

The hotel overbooked, we were ok but our friends who also booked with us somehow got cancelled. Not going to fault the hotel fully but they are going to have a relationship with Expedia they should still ensure they deliver.
