Room was clean, nice big bed, shower head not rainfall effect due to limescale, staff helpful on reception, housekeeping extremely polite and welcoming, pillows way too soft and flat (personal reference) walls very thin, paid parking hard to find a space but manageable. The room was fairly clean, and very large, but very drab. It was like a Holiday Inn Room that wanted to be a high-end fancy hotel. The location is OK, there isn't much to do in Milton Keynes. It's right next to a huge mall, but it's hard to walk from the mall to the hotel, unless you have a great sense of direction. GPS is not helpful with wayfinding, and all the Uber drivers had trouble finding it. Breakfast however was the best I had in all of England and Ireland. And the views from the restaurant are spectacular.

This place was great when it first opened, really top tier. We stayed about 8 months ago and there were buckets in reception as clearly there was a leak. This weekend, still there. The quality of the rooms is not where it was, bottom of the doors are chipped, grime around the seals in the bathroom. The bar on the top floor is the same story, standards have just slipped. It’s such a shame as it was a great place to stay and was just a higher standard than other hotels in the area, but it’s not worth the extra money anymore. A real let down.

Beautiful room, nice and refined. Comfy bed, really good bathroom layout too. Has a “sense” of luxury. Central location so good access to food places and few bits and bobs to do - bowling, arcade, bit of shopping. Would stay here again if I needed to pass through the area.
