The hotel isnt flexible for early check-ins and late check-outs. They charge £20 if you arrive before 3pm for check-in even if its only 30mins before the advertised check-in time. Same applies for check-out which is 11:00am.

Great location

View was great and good selection of food for breakfast. Great location if going to theatre. Was hoping for selection of hot chocolate option in room and for breakfast. Sound proofing could be better as could hear people coughing and talking in the room next door. Thought there would be a fridge in the room and would have better selection of TV channels

Good stay minor issues

The plunger in the sink was temperamental the hotel Tried to sort but it was still tricky to use. Ice machine outside very noisy! And the door rattled every time somebody open the left lobby door. But it wouldn’t put me off staying again as the rooms are so nice

Immaculate bedrooms as was the entire property, staff very pleasant and attentive, very good bar area and restaurant on the top floor, prices for drinks a little high but probably in line with anything else in the area. All round impressive hostelry which i would use again whenever i am in the area

Disappointed

When i arrived i was told to go to a queue on the outside because there were 4 desks open. I then had a couple shout at me because they had been waiting. I tried to explain that i was doing as I'd been told. The staf didn't stick up for me and another man pushed past too. I was travelling as a lone female who is already traumatised and needed to get away. I could have broken down then and there in reception. I feel that staff could have been kinder and more helpful.
