The first room I was given was a few doors down from construction on the 4th floor. The sheetrock smell permeated the hallway and into the room. The hallway was covered with plastic which had a bunch of construction debris. The room I was changed to on the eighth floor was overall fine, however the TV constantly crapped out being so pixelated I couldn't see the picture. I couldn't watch TV on a number of nights when the Olympics were playing. The desk person just said we are having a lot replaced with the renovations.
There was only one elevator which moved at a snails pace, on Friday night it was down for awhile so I climbed 8 stories! I'm not sure if someone was intentionally keeping the elevator from moving or it broke, the person at the front desk in the morning had no idea.
Housekeeping was spotty. One morning I woke and there was no coffee replenished, I didn't think to look the previous night. Towels I hung up were taken but not replenished.
The bedding was unremarkable. Thin blanket and thin bedspread left me cold at night and uncomfortable. I was given another blanket upon request but it was still not enough.
The staff was great however. Everyone I came in contact with was very helpful during my stay.
