Private Beach House

Enjoy complete access to the newly renovated house. The new kitchen includes granite counters, oversized refrigerator/ freezer with filtered ice/ water dispenser, dishwasher, glass top range, and island seating. All new beds, pull-out couches, and seating. Updated bathrooms and laundry room including new washer/ dryer.

Outside you will find a private backyard and large deck complete with new gas grill and dining set. The front deck entrance has wonderful views of Long Island and the Sound and a perfect place to enjoy breakfast and watch the sun rise. There is off-street parking for 3 vehicles.

Just steps away is the private family beach. It is available to use by owners and their guest only. Enjoy a swim in the sound or collecting shells on a stroll. The beach sits within a sheltered cove and has water that is fairly calm and shallow, perfect for family or learning how to paddle board.

The house is minutes from I-95 as well as Metro-North and Amtrak railway. Uber, Lyft, and the public bus are available. From the house, you can bike or walk to the larger beaches to enjoy an ice cream but you will want a vehicle to take you for grocery and supplies unless you prefer to have them delivered. There is a wine and spirit shop that carries a few other odds and ends at the top of the street.

The neighborhood is a quiet tucked away family beach community. Biking is a frequent activity along with jogging and all sorts of water sports. Nearby is historic downtown Milford full of boutique shops, restaurants, and night life. You will also find the marina, seasonal farmers markets, arts festivals, and holiday celebrations. Another couple of miles away will take you to malls, cinemas, sporting goods, grocery, and just about anything you might need during your stay.
