Racist and unfriendly staff
Pros:Nothing
I had a bad experience at this hotel and was totally disappointed. Milan was my first stop one a one week Italy trip. I wanted to go back to New Zealand when I checked out of Hotel Club cos I was scared.
Only thing that worked was the proximity to metro station...that's it.
Wifi...extremely poor.
Room size extremely tiny and basic.
Hotel staff: Very unfriendly and racist especially the night reception called DANTE. He treated me so bad (passive aggressive) that I had to confront him on my last night. We had a heated argument that lasted for an hour and I had everything recorded on camera. I've never had issues with my skin colour until I stayed at Hotel Club. I will never visit Milan again.
Woke up one morning to a high pitched sound of drilling on the wall. Asked the guy if he could do it another time but was ignored and given a stern look...I walked away.
Felt like I was staying at hotel club for free cos I got no value for what I paid for.
Luckily the rest of my trip (Florence and Rome) was fun and I realised Italians out of Milan are much nicer and welcoming.
Don't stay in this hotel if you are black or ethnic. I would say everyone should avoid it. Not worth it.
