Communication with the host prior to our stay was minimal. The host did not give all the information that is needed to a renter prior to our stay, or not until we asked, which made it very frustrating. Could not gain access to the apartment, but got lucky that a neighbor was there to assist in calling the owner.There were no curtains on the one side of the sliding doors, and no privacy for the bedrooms. There were a few things that could use some attention, like the shower curtain in one bathroom was too long and could hurt someone, there was no lights in the one bedroom and the light switch in the other was only accessible by climbing over the bed. The beds were not comfortable at all. There was not enough towels for 4 people to stay for the week. The couch and dinning chair cushions could use some reinforcements to stay put.

We came to Milan to see Olympic games at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey arena, and this location was two metro stops away. We loved the easy access to the metro, and the apartment had a nice kitchen, relatively stocked. Be careful not to run the dishwasher at the same time as the hot water pot - we tripped the power and it took the host a while to send us instructions for how to correct it. Our biggest complaint was how the bedrooms and bathrooms were not very private with sliding doors and no sound barriers.

The property seemed in good condition and the host was helpful. We felt that the main entrance door/ windows could have done with a blind/curtains for some privacy from the neighbours especially when using the downstairs bathroom and also to stop the light coming in at night from the lights from the outside walk way. We had an issue with some of our 2 pin plug adapters as the pins where slightly bigger and would not go into the plug sockets however they did fit into the extension lead that was in the kitchen where the kettle was plugged in, but we found that the iron and hairdryer that was provided in the property was also difficult to plug into the plug sockets so it wasn't just our adapters.We only used the kettle in the property so can not comment on the rest of the kitchen appliances but there seemed to be everything available ( the kettle did seem to whistle when switched on and the hairdryer made noises when switched on). The location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk to the local metro station which was so easy to use and it was just one m3 line that took us straight to the areas that we wanted to visit ( cathedral, central main train line/ coach station and the qc termemilano spa.) From the apartment to the metro, getting our tickets and then getting to the central main station it took about 50 minutes max.The local shopping area where the metro is, was excellent with plenty of eating places which was reasonably priced as opposed to the centre/cathedral areas.
