El Capricho - Is a delightful home, tastefully furnished to a high standard. The accommodation comprises of a spacious octagonal master bedroom with views of the Mediterranean, this bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Down a flight of stairs to 2 x twin bedded rooms that share a bathroom (bath with overhead shower) and the second double bedroom that also has an en-suite bathroom (bath + a walk-in shower). These 3 bedrooms have direct access to the pool area.
There is a well equipped kitchen with oven, induction top, microwave, two fridge/freezer, dishwasher, etc and a washing machine and iron/ board in a separate laundry room. It also has a flatscreen Television with a lot of international channels. Fiber network with wifi.

Excellent 4-week holiday in this beautiful villa August ‘25. Ample room for 8 in 3 generations aged 17-77. Space and facilities for everybody. Excellent pool, good sea view and set in a lovely area, walking distance to great local restaurants – e.g. El Patio del Faro and Colinas del Faro as well as an Italian, Chinese and Indian sampled. Villa has private parking - big plus there. Five minutes walk from a supermarket and 3 more minutes from a small cove beach with a nice bar/ sheltered tables. Sunbeds and paddle boards for rent. HUGE supermarket/ mall 7 minutes drive, Fuengirola 8-10 mins drive or taxi 10. Raymond responded quickly to queries and sorted out minor issues next day. Couldn't ask for more. He could update instructions (e.g. for new hob). TV is small but has a range of channels, Apple TV etc. Other resorts nearby, waterpark in Torremolios and Gibraltar an easy drive to meet the monkeys, etc. Book cable car in advance or take the taxi trip (1/2 price after 7pm), Visit Mijas in the mountains (easy drive) for a really excellent day out, recommend TukTuk experience. Airport 30 mins drive. We found the villa very comfortable with some things modern, some out-dated. Great barbecue. We enjoyed dining on the balcony with lovely sea-view. It was great fun watching the wild pigs go down the road each evening – they are protected. Five stars for enjoyability and value experience in this great villa. Many thanks, Raymond, hope to come again.

Lovely stay at Raymond's villa as a family of 8. The property is situated in a quiet residential area and the views out to the med from the pool and terraces are fantastic. A couple of local bars, restaurants and supermarkets close by and taxis and buses to get around where aplenty. Our only minor gripe was the pool could have done with some cleaning from the middle of our stay as it stained some swimwear green. We were expecting the caretaker to come to tend to this but this never happened.BBQ area was fantastic and there was so much space for everyone to relax and enjoy.Overall, a fantastic property and would highly recommend for families.

This property could be fabulous as it’s a great size but it falls short in many areas. Pool area great but needs a good clean under shaded area. The rest of the outside areas and some indoor areas would also benefit greatly from a deep clean. Bedding and towels poor quality and curtains light and flimsy in lower bedrooms. One of the bedrooms aircon not working and took over 4 days to sort so couple in that room really struggled. Terrace area on top floor great for us all to gather and enjoy food and drinks but again not as clean as it could be. Location was great with lots of eating places close by and very handy for taxis and local bus service. Wouldn’t take much to bring this villa up to an acceptable standard and for the cost of renting for a week this hopefully will happen.

Brilliant Holiday.

The villa is excellent in all ways. Clean, tidy with everything required for a self catering holiday, although there are so many good local restaurants that we did spoil ourselves with several nights out. Villa owner easy to contact and quick to reply. No problems here. Fully recommended.

Fantastic Villa

We stayed at the Villa for 10 days and had a wonderful time. There were 6 of us with ages ranging from 6 years to 81 years old, it was spacious, comfortable & was ideal for all. The villa was very clean and well equipped. We all particularly loved the pool, the view from the villa and the 5min walk to the local beach. There was also plenty of local bars, cafes and shops to keep us stocked up. Whilst there a few of the family used the handy bus to Fuengirola market and we also visited the water park & hired a pedallo at the beach. The owner Raymond was a very helpful & friendly regarding the booking. We would highly recommend this villa.

Stunning villa with lovely sea views.

The villa is a nice design and a superb layout for a family with all rooms having a view of the sea. The outside space is very pleasant with established fruit and flowering shrubs, Raymond's directions are clear and tips useful. Parking is not an issue as you have your own carport that is easy to enter as it's opposite a T junction on a quiet road. The disappointment for us was the pool heating is not sufficient to make using it out of the summer season an enjoyable experience. The bedding was very poor, the pillows were the least supportive I have ever experienced, and only one per bed. luckily we are only a family of four so could use the pillows from the spare beds. The double beds had been made up with only single duvets, most strange! We purchased a king size duvet and left it at the property perhaps the next guest might find it useful.

Very spacious, lovely property. Raymond very responsive. Nice location, quiet yet close to attractions, restaurants and bigger towns. Only minor negative, jacuzzi did not work - kids disappointed - and no pool toys for kids. We bought some and left them there.

Family Getaway

We loved the house and enjoyed our stay tremendously. I was traveling with my three children (ages 15, 13 and 9) and thought the house was a perfect in so many ways. We cooked in a few nights and also traveled to nearby locations for dinner out as well. Probably the best aspect of the house and it's location is that it allowed us to have a few days of just hanging out. There was plenty of room to use the pool, hangout in one of the many locations in or outside the house, venture out to the beach, or spend some time in the kitchen prepping for the next meal. Our visit occurred the last week in April and found the house to be so comfortable from a climate standpoint. The sliders off of the living room delivered fresh air to the upper floor without the need of air conditioning. The pool was slightly heated which made it much more useable. Also, one of the best aspects of staying here was Raymond and his responsiveness to our questions. The few questions we had were answered in timely manner and were very helpful. Raymond made things so easy...thank you again Raymond!

All the things you could need in one villa.

The villa was spacious and clean. The host was really helpful and quick at communicating with us and the accommodation felt welcoming with hospitable touches all over the place. Lots of different places to sit at all over the different floors and areas of the villa. Plenty of utensils and equipment for self catering. Great location for going out exploring the coast. Day trips to Gibraltar and Ronda are in easy reach. Had a great time. We would highly recommend and come back again in the future.

We recently returned from this villa and wish we could return tomorrow!! Absolutely fabulous, highl.

All our dealings with Raymond were professional, and even when we had issues with the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms, Raymond worked to have it fixed ASAP. The villa was a beautiful size and meant that everyone in our group of 7 had space to relax and the pool was gorgeous. We spent so much time as a family either at the pool, using the fantastic bbq or sharing a meal around the large dining table. El Faro is quiet and there are a few restaurants in walking distance and the beach is accessible. We went to the fish restaurant on the beach and it was delightful. We did use taxis, bus and then hired a car to explore further afield. We would recommend Benhavis;the river to swim in and jump into the cool water. Mijas was delightful and we even drove to El Duques and past fuengirola in the opposite direction. We wanted to do the ‘kings walk’ but alas it was fully booked. There is so much to do if you explore further afield but if you just want to relax then the villa will provide the perfect home!! Thank you Raymond. Our holiday memories will help keep us going as the weather cools!

Spacious villa with great facilities

We were a party of 4 adults with 2 children, aged 4 and 6, staying here for 10 nights. For 3 of those nights we were joined by 2 more adult family members. The villa was very spacious with room for everyone. My advice to Raymond would be to update his site pictures as the ones he has posted do not do the villa justice. The pool area was simply great for our party and became the focal point. The range of patios gave everyone the chance to find their own space when required. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. In fairness some of the furnishings (e.g. the sofas) were a little dated yet this only added to the homely feel of the place. We had all assembled to celebrate my wife's birthday and our whole stay was a complete success.
