I absolutely loved my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Big Spring, TX! From the moment I walked in, the desk clerk was super nice — welcoming, professional, and made check-in quick and easy. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well cared for. Front desk staff was very friendly. Cleaning seemed as if it was rushed (soap residue in the soap dish; kleenex box cover had spots from spray cleaner on it). Mattress was old (could feel the springs) and very low. I was in a handicapped room (though I did not need that, no problem there). I only mention this because I find it hard to see how a person in a wheel chair would get into and out of that horrible bed. Breakfast was well stocked and area was clean.

One night stay while traveling east. The room itself was nice. Shower wasn’t totally clean but not terrible. The mattress seemed worn out and needs to be replaced It was lumpy and squeaked every time I moved. Breakfast was standard.

The only complaint I have is about the mats outside the elevator on the first floor—it was extremely dirty with visible stains, which gave me a poor first impression of the hotel. It made me worry that the room might be in the same condition. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised—the room was super nice and very clean! I really enjoyed my stay. The AC was perfectly cool, just the way I like it. I’ll definitely stay here again.
