Brookledge is located in a small town called Providence.
This is a safe and rural community. We are 10 miles from Saratoga Springs and 10 miles from Sacanadaga Lake. We are just outside of the Adirondack Mountains and about 40 minutes from Lake George.
There are communal spaces that campers use they are The Ice Bucket Pond, Raymond's Roost Bar, The Fireside Pavilion, Camp Chapel, Bathhouses, Canoe, Paddle boat and Nature Trails. Please be a kind camper when interacting with others.
You will have private use of a campfire, chairs, hammock, porch space, parking space, outhouse and grill.
Dogs are welcome.
We often are asked, “What is Brookledge”? Great question! We are not a 5 star luxury hotel, we are a 5 tree happy to be nature getaway. If you are looking for 1,000 count sheets, concierge and fine china, Brookledge is not it. If you are looking for stars in the sky, trees and a comfy bed, that is us!
Here are some things to expect
Brookledge was once a Girls Camp called Girls Inc. We still have many buildings, pavilions, bath houses and trails from the original camp. They have been restored to reflect nature and their history. When you step outside, you will most likely see chipmunks scurrying from tree to tree. They were here first, but they pay rent in acorns. You may get a sudden urge to walk on the trails. It happens, I don’t know why!?!? Just follow the orange squirrel trail markers.
Why would you ever want to come here? That is an easy question to answer.
You can look up at night and see millions of stars and fireflies in the field. When you take that walk, you will see deer tracks and hear the sound of the creek. The pond lovingly called the Ice Bucket will beckon you to skip rocks or possibly be brave enough to take the canoe for a spin. You will have access to VHS tapes, campfires or an epic game of cornhole. Loser does the dishes! The floating dock holds on tightly to a green canoe. Time with family and friends around a campfire with S’mores of course! Visit our little library and enjoy a book in our hammocks.
If you are the type of person that loves flannel shirts, thinks that music with a guitar solo is a must and can’t walk past a dog without petting it then Brookledge is your place. We hope that you will not be a renter, but our guest. Pull up a chair, grab a root beer and join us. Welcome to Brookledge my friend!

Perfect weekend getaway
What a perfect little camping cabin as we called it. For starters it was very well kept, the whole property. The pond was tranquil and the woods paths were enchanting. My son and dog loved walking the property and exploring. We fed the fish and paddled around the pond on the canoe. The beds are comfy and the sleep was deep. We came to have a nice getaway weekend and that’s exactly what we got. I would highly recommend the camping cabin to anyone a fan of the above. 5stars all the way around!

Cozy and cute stay
This was a really fun stay. My friend and I really enjoyed the campgrounds, the cabin was super cute and had towels, and airfryer, a hot plate, fridge and freezer, water. It was very peaceful. Also even though there are other cabins on the property, it is very private. You are very close to the water, pavilion and bathhouse. The only downside is that if you don’t drive, it will be very expensive to get around by rideshares.

Fabulous Getaway
My family (2 adults, 2 boys - 6 and 8) stayed at the Crook Brook Cabin for 2 nights and wish we booked longer. It was beyond adorable and a perfect mix of off the grid feel with comfortable amenities, especially for a non-camper like me! Kids loved feeding the fish, trying out the canoe and playing old school games. Looking forward to a return visit in the future.

Sooo Adorable
I fell in love as soon as I saw the cottage. I came here with my son's. We didn't get to do much since our stay was short and there was a downpour, but it perfect to unwind/de-stress. Loved the VCR and the movie selection. It took me back to the day's when my eldest son was younger (now an adult). Funny how he only chose the cartoon movies to play.
The beds were comfortable, the kitchen/dining area was more than adequate to cook and eat. Judging by the thing's I brought with me to aid in cooking, I could tell there was alot of thought put into the smallest details for anyone who would want to stay there. I didn’t need to use my own aids.
The view was fantastic, the walk to the bath house didn’t annoy me like I thought it might. I actually enjoyed the walk. The outhouse nearby the cottage was exceptionally clean with no smell. I truly appreciated that. One thing I would being with me next time is perhaps a netted hat since I don't do chemical bug sprays. A return trip is definitely in the future.

The hosts did a wonderful job. I came with my boyfriend and my 2 dogs and we all enjoyed it. Plenty of trails to hike on and the place was very nice. When we came back home I wish we stayed longer. We plan on coming back every year!
