Listing is a lie.
Thought this property looked cute and booked because of the location and because the pictures showed an entire kitchen and it was stated in the listing as well. Upon arrival I went to wash my hands and there was no water. My fiancé looked underneath the sink and the pipes were not connected. Neither the microwave nor stove worked either. The cords were either hidden or the outlets were covered up. It was a fake kitchen! I only booked this property and paid more because it included what I thought was a real kitchen. I could have booked another property without a kitchen for much less. When I complained to the front desk I was told “this isn’t a functioning kitchen and the girl should have told you when you checked in.” NO it should not have been listed as a kitchen on the listing in the first place! The listing also claims this to be a BRAND NEW $5M fully renovated building which was also a lie. Some elements were new yes but others were old, worn and dirty. The shower was missing a door and left the floor soaking wet, the TV had subtitles on the screen but no picture. We were moved to another room where the TV worked but everything else was exactly the same as the first. This is the first time I had a negative experience with a VRBO listing and I’ve been using them since they were VacationRentals.com and I am now wary of using this site again. To everyone booking with this owner please be aware.
