The property is very nice. Spacious apartments with very tall ceilings, large showers, and modern furniture. The service was inconsistent, but after complaining about the Front Desk, the manager Karla, was wonderful in improving our experience for us. Overall, I would highly recommend staying there. The neighborhood is quite walkable and the location is fantastic.

Xoma was a nice property. Our room was really nice. The service from the front desk people was less than desirable. We felt that the lady in the evenings didn’t want to really talk to us and seemed distracted on her phone calls. The man in the morning wasn’t pleasant. So the place was good and the people working in and around the hotel but not the front desk folks. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay. The service was great. I do believe that the place needs more attention at the pool area. The food items sit out under the heat. Drinks get warm and I don’t think for food safety

Everything is amazing. I have stayed many times and I love it. Any Viadora properties are amazing. But I don’t appreciate having staff that is not Mexican. Mexico has the best service ever, other nationalities have an edge and are not as helpful and friendly.

The property itself was great; the rooms, the building itself, the unique architecture. However, check-in was rough as the staff member was less than friendly and arrogant. He got the job done, but he was unfriendly and borderline hostile. After staying in other hotels in Dallas, Texas, San Miguel De Allende, and Queretaro in the immediate weeks prior to checking into Xoma (at an Omni property, The Rosewood, and a boutique hotel), it made the poor check-in experience at Xoma that much more disappointing by contrast. There were two men who attended to our check-in and both, surprisingly, possessed a similar negative energy/attitude. What helped us temper our response to their attitudes (and this review) was the warmth and urgent attentiveness of the bellman and the lobby/door attendants which was refreshing. Maybe they should train the front desk staff on how to engage with guests?

Can't say enough good things about this property. It's worth it to spend the extra bucks to stay here while in Mexico City. The hotel itself is very modern, clean, safe, and quiet (thick walls!). The neighborhood is very walkable - everything you could want is a short distance away, from food to coffee to groceries. The gym is very nice and we had it to ourselves every time. The street its on is not very busy so its a good spot to call an Uber. It's a perfect central hub for exploring Mexico City.
