This is a beautiful old hotel that has been updated. It was very comfortable and only 2 blocks from the zocalo. The staff was helpful and friendly. The heater didn't work in our room, so they brought us a small heater, which worked perfectly. We really enjoyed the location because you could walk to many museums, restaurants, and the pasteleria was across the street for luscious desserts.

Very conveniently located at walking distance of the historic center of the city. The hotel facilities feels very safe and intimate. Even thought it is an older building, it is in very well maintenance conditions and very clean. The room, internal, was very quiet, something that for me is more important than a view. The area is full of places to eat affordably and great options of patisseries shops and cafes.

Perfect location for walking around the Historical area. Great staff! There was a very bad smell in our suite all the time and we couldn't open the window. We left the door to hallway open whenever we could but it was still very unpleasant.

Overall the hotel was very nice and in an excellent location for walking to the historic center. However, if your room has a street facing window, like ours did, be prepared for noisy nights. I had to use the white noise app on my phone to be able to sleep.
