We stayed here almost a week. We enjoyed the functional kitchen, spacious rooms and loved the roof top garden sitting area. However, our room was on the first floor with windows on the street. It was very loud and the street traffic woke us all night. Don’t accept this room if you light sleeper!

Cute place in a good location. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Check-in was easy and the keyless access and 24hr doorman was nice. Our only issues were that for that week stay, we only got two clean towels, two rolls of toilet paper, and no housekeeping service. In Mexico City it is my understanding that you are to throw used toilet paper in the trash rather than flushing, so that bin got gross and full rather quickly. For a shorter stay it likely wouldn’t be an issue but for our length of stay it was borderline.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Oliva. The staff were very friendly (big thanks to Juan at the door, we’re sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye). The neighbourhood (Roma Norte) is very interesting with lots of restaurants, sidewalk food vendors (amazing vegan tacos at Paxil — they’re a must!). There’s issues with gentrification in Roma Norte and you try to consider your impact there. Eat local and try and support the community if you can. Casa Oliva hotel is beautiful with amazing courtyard plants and comfortable rooms and spaces. We’re grateful that we could stay there.

The whole environment is cute, room is clean. Staff are very nice and friendly. They have the translation app ready on their phone in case you don’t speak any Spanish. Will stay there again when visiting Mexico City next time.

The property was fine…..however the key pad @ my door was in very poor condition……you could barely see anything on the screen as it was terribly scratched…..and seemed to have a mind of its own….I would have to attempt 15 - 20 times to actually get into my room….a tad frustrating for a solo traveller. The bed was comfortable.

It’s a hotel/apartment. No front desk but 24/7 security. Two women and we felt safe walking home every night. We had a two bedroom and it was perfect. Bonus we had a washer/dryer in the room.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The guard at the front and the houseman were very accommodating of my late reservation. The room was clean (though a few areas were missed-I’ll mention in my Google review). Still no big deal, the room was cozy and well decorated and safe . Hotel is In a great area, lots of restaurants. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel . The water was hot and showers pressure was good . The staff here is excellent and I’ll be back .

Great and cute hotel

This hotel was in a great location near alot of places to eat and shop. Everything seemed like a short walk or shorter ride. The door men were extremely nice and felt extremely safe. They had luggage storage which came in handy when arriving early and having a later flight after checkout. It’s more of an airbnb type hotel then a traditional hotel, so dont expect getting towels and stuff as easy, so that was the only downside but still am amazing place to stay at while staying in roma norte.

Great place, great location. The staff were all very nice, and despite us not speaking a lick of Spanish (that’s on us) we were able to manage checkin, checkout and the mysterious door lock. The layout options were awesome and very spacious.

My husband and I loved this hotel! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I want to mention Juan, Bernardo, Lauro and Javier who all helped us in some way and were very professional. It’s a convenient walking distance from everything we wanted to visit. We are vegetarians and we had so many options on restaurants, some of our favorites were Gatorta, Gracias Madre, Plantasia and Goyo’s Burgers. We loved the apartment style of our room, it was very clean and aesthetically pleasing, my favorite part was having a patio to go out to in the mornings. The one thing I would mention is that our room faced the street so we could hear everything happening outside. It wasn’t a big issue for us but if you have trouble sleeping I would ask what room is further away from the street. Zona Rosa is very close which has lots of bars and great nightlife. Arena Mexico is walking distance for a Lucha Libre fight night. It’s also an easy spot to get an Uber or taxi to pick you up and visit other places in the city!
