Hard to add to the other reviews other than to say that we agree 100% with the consensus that this is an exceptional and unique property and we dearly hope we can return for. more family adventure. The location and design are exquisite. It is hard to overstate how remarkable the two primary bedrooms both are: each has its advantages. We ceded the king bed and fireplace and en-suite to our daughter, to enjoy the views from the elevated cliff side room. The bunk beds were charming and would well-suit younger kids; our only advice would be to add a clip-on light to the upper bunk. The kitchen is decently stocked but chefs should know the range is electric and may want to bring their own cookware. The hottub was a welcome respite and while we wish it were overlooking the sea, we appreciate that it is private and sheltered. The proximity to the Cabrillo Light House was marvelous; the view is genuinely post-card ready and we heard sea lions barking as well as the constant crash of the surf. Take care if approaching the edge, but definitely take a look. The location is very convenient both to Mendocino and Fort Bragg, not to mention local attractions like Van Damme and Jug Handle parks.Check in and out were both frictionless and convenient.A treasure worth every star!
