This is a superb place to stay and easy to get to Melton Mowbray, Oakham and Rutland Water. The rooms were very clean and tidy, with a large comfy bed. I had my coffee outside in the little private courtyard, which was very relaxing. The owners left some yummy cakes and fresh fruit for us which we very much appreciated. Lots of hot drink choices and the little kitchen was a real treat too. We will be booking again.

The room was lovely. Very comfortable with lots of character and facilities making it a very cosy experience. Fran was very friendly, welcoming me on arrival and showing me where everything was including the invitation to sit in her beautiful garden. The fridge was stocked with fruit and milk and there was a selection of cereals, teas and coffee on a tray for breakfast. This was everything I needed. Parking was so easy on the drive and right by the door to my room. Altogether a very comfortable stay. Thank you!

I received a warm welcome and the room was clean and spacious. There was fresh milk and fresh fruit available in the mini-fridge, which was thoughtful; also, delicious home made chocolate cake! This suited me perfectly for a one-night stopover on my travels.
