Melgaco is a cool place for a getaway, however, accommodation in the middle of the city is very limited. You'll have more success finding a place to stay at any of the 7 suitable options within 10 kilometres.

If you want to be as close as possible to the central streets, the Hotel Boavista II and Monte Prado Hotel & Spa are top options.

30 kilometres from the centre of Melgaco is the Balneario de Mondariz. Alternatively, the Hotel Bienestar Termas de Monção is situated 20 kilometres away. The Casa de Rodas, as well as the Convento dos Capuchos, are two other recommended places to book accommodation in Melgaco.

We booked this hotel knowing that it was going to be basic. So keep this in mind when we describe the hotel. Location - very good, from here you can hike, bike, take tours canyon. Room- Basic but clean Breakfast - coffee, Deli meat, cheese, cake, and juice. Bad- There are no bike rental on site or anywhere close by. Expedia say that there were bike rentals on site. This was the main reason we stayed here. On night, we had car revving and joking with no regards and in the early morning they were mowing the grass very early in the morning. You will not be able to sleep here. Peace and tranquility you will not get here.
