AC stopped working each night, would wake up sweating, had to turn it back on, bathroom had a gross fishy smell to it, I was staying there for work, working overnight. The day i was suppose to check out at 11, the staff came pounding on door at 9:01am telling me it was time to checkout, i had just gotten to room about 539am, they had made me leave my room the day before that to clean it, but i just wanted to sleep, i was working overniggt, staff wasn't super friendly, will not stay here again. In fact, i got another hotel in area.

Our stay with Avid was very good. No surprises. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast looked appetizing, but we had other plans. The front desk staff in the evening and at checkout were very friendly. My only suggestion would be to be able to turn off the side bed lamp without getting out of bed. Might seem picky, but it would make sense to me.
