Stylishly restored small half-timbered house in the centre of Meiningen
Cosy, well-furnished house with stylish wooden furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful solid wood floors throughout all living areas. For this reason, we ask our guests to wear slippers inside the house.
The ground floor features an entryway, living room, small dining room, and kitchen.
The living room is a cosy retreat. In winter, it’s nice and warm and cosy here thanks to the tiled stove. Pleasantly cool in summer.
A beautiful wooden staircase leads to the ground floor. Here you’ll find a stylish bathroom with a freestanding bathtub. There are also two bedrooms with double beds and comfortable mattresses. Both bedrooms are connected by a double door.
In spring, summer, and fall, it’s lovely to relax in the cottage garden. A covered patio invites you to linger. …It’s wonderful—you can start the day with breakfast in the garden to the sound of birdsong and enjoy a delicious barbecue in the evening.
In our garden, you’ll find seasonal vegetables and herbs.
Meiningen—the theatre town—and what else is there to discover here? Elisabethenburg Castle, the Theatre Museum, the Goetz Cave, the English Garden, the Steam Locomotive Adventure World, and more.
Here you can go hiking, biking, canoeing, horseback riding, swimming, and more. Or take beautiful drives by car or motorcycle. The Rhön and the Thuringian Forest invite you to explore and relax.
Curious? Then come visit us—we look forward to seeing you!
