The front desk clerk appeared to be overwhelmed, as the cleaning staff was not finished in time for the rooms to be 'inspected' prior to 3pm check in. Several of us waited, at least 30 minutes, after checking in, to be allowed into our rooms. We requested extra pillows upon checking in, didn't happen. When I attempted to use the pool later in the evening, my room card would not open the pool door. A different front desk clerk, who was checking someone in, failed to acknowledge my presence, a hospitality must. When she moved on to me, she performed her job, but with NO curtesy. The women never looked at me. I feel I was more than polite in my request. The room was clean, but the wallpaper is peeling off of the walls. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

This place is marginally acceptable. The rooms are dark and the decor is very dated. The whole place needs a facelift. The cleanliness is hard to assess because the fixtures are so old. I will choose another facility if I come through Ely again.

More parking would be nice and helpful! Overflow was into grocery store side lot with massive pot holes was not convenient or good for vehicles. Breakfast starting at 5:30am wpuld be nice for me personally. I leave for work with the long drive by 5:45am when I am in town. So it would be nice to grab a bite for the long drive. The hotel is my preferred lodging because it is quiet without gambling! :)

The shower/ tub hot water was just warm durring my two day stay. But the indoor zucuzzi was the best I have ever experienced in my travels. The tv channel changer only operated in the down position making it fustrting when trying to change channels.

Barking dog woke us at 6:30. Obviously left to wake everyone while owner dined. Desk notified but nothing!! Breakfast poorly kept up … 3 carafes empty, girl working was not trained well. Very disappointed this trip.
