Great location in the Port area of Marseille. Good access to restaurants etc. Metro was really close. The port area is noisy. The windows in the hotel do a good job keeping most of the noise out. Reception is up 2 flights of stairs with no elevator. There is a small elevator from reception up to the bedroom floors.

The hotel is in a very nice area, by the harbour. Very convenient for walking to see the sites, and sampling the many restaurants in the area. It's a very safe neighbourhood and pretty. The staff are very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to find out where you are from, what you want to do and they offer suggestions and ideas. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location, location, very central close to metro, bus, restaurants, shops etc. However, be prepared to haul luggages from streeti level to the 1st floor where the reception is. The room is small, but so is the price. I say excellent value for money.

The staff are the standout. Special mention to Nadia. My sister wasnt too well and I swear they treated things as if it was their sister right up to the cup of tea waiting for us after we got her out to dinner. Reaaly very special people at the hotel.

Perfect location and views

The location of the hotel was perfect; it was close to many restaurants, shopping, boat tours, and historic sites and museums. We paid a little more for a view of the old port and it did not disappoint!! Check in and check out were fairly easy, although the interface could be improved for some of the answer choices. Breakfast food was excellent. Staff was extremely helpful. We wish the room had had a safe so that we could secure our passports. Unfortunately when we arrived, the elevator was broken. So if you have heavy luggage like we did, it could be a problem. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at the Life Hotel immensely!!

Nice, simple, Corel with a fantastic location

Very nice, simple, hotel in a fantastic location. Definitely well priced. Friendly staff. A/C works well. There is a a 1-1/2 story flight of stairs to get from entrance up to the lobby, which is a bit arduous with luggage. The front desk attendant saw us arriving and came down to to help which was great, but we had more bags than she had hands, so still some work. Luckily there is an elevator going up to the rooms.

The location is great and staff are helpful. However, we were initially placed in a room at the top floor of the hotel which was extremely hot due to a grand ceiling window. Once we got into our room, it was also very hot in there and so we turned on the ac but after 3 hours, the room still wasn’t fresh and we were sweating. The hotel staff kindly moved us to another room with working ac. Only this time, the Chromecast on the projector did not work and the staff could not help us. This wasn’t a huge issue but it was a bit annoying after dealing with the ac issue prior to this. All in all, we were there for the city and the hotel was a nice place to rest our heads.
