Bavarian Treasure!

Cozy family hotel, very friendly. Easy access for day trips to Salzburg, Königssee, Chimsee and other lakes, hikes and small towns. Very traditional bavarian experience, in an actual farm. Very good breakfast included in the price. Excellent restaurant is premises for dinner. Strong smells come with the enjoyable farm typical experience .

Disappointing

I chose the hotel partly as it has it's own restaurant which was important for me after an 11 hour drive. On arrival to my surprise I was informed that the restaurant was closed (no obvious mention of this on hotels. com). No offer of a cold platter was made and I was told that there was a pizzeria in the next village! The room was OK but very old fashioned and had seen better days. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of sweet and savoury products. On departure I wanted to hand in my key and pay for the beer I had consumed but no-one turned up in reception after 15 minutes wait. I was not alone in waiting. All in all very poor service
