This very special holiday apartment in Markdorf is located in a more than 470-year old house, completely renovated and only a short drive from the shores of Lake Constance. The 100 mÂČ apartment on the first floor consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (each with an additional single bed) as well as 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Please note that the second bedroom and the second bathroom are only available for groups of 4 or more guests. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a fireplace, a television and a highchair. Due to the great location in the centre of Markdorf, you can reach supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, cafĂ©s and restaurants on foot within 5 minutes (400 m). The train station is 600 m or an 8-minute walk away. You will reach the closest beach of Lake Constance after 8 km or a 12-minute drive to the little town of Immenstaad. Here you can take refreshing swims in the clear blue water and enjoy the wonderful panorama with views of the Swiss Alps. After 12 km or a 15-minute drive to the ferry terminal in Meersburg, you can cross the lake to Konstanz. The city is famous for its picturesque old town centre with historical buildings and a medieval cathedral. The pretty lakeside town of Friedrichshafen is a 14-minute train ride away, where you can stroll about the lovely promenades and visit the Zeppelin museum. A zoo, Affenberg Salem, is 16.4 km or a 21-minute drive west of the farm. The beautiful Lake Constance region offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and cycling, and in winter, you can also go skiing only a 21-minute drive (17.5 km) from the apartment.
