The Monarch Inn was the perfect location while visiting Yosemite, walked to the wonderful Sticks Coffee shop every morning (although coffee & juice was available every morning from the hotel), grocery store, gas station & restaurants all near by. Beds were comfortable & clean. Bathroom was updated. Wifi didn't work the whole time we were there but it's ok. I would stay again if I visit Yosemite again.

Stayed for 4 days. Didn’t clean our room but one time so ran out of soap. No amenities so if you’re looking for hotel with anything except a bed and bath it’s not for you. Staff was ok. About an hour and fifteen minutes from Yosemite entrance then another hour to pretty much anything in the park.

A big disappointment. Stated three nights, but the room was never cleaned once, despite promises. Then the room rate doubled! I discussed this with Management who promised me an adjustment. After waiting for a month, I contacted them again and received a reply that pretty much translates into “Get lost” Save your money; Stay somewhere else

We had no body wash for the stay and also ran out of shampoo, even though the room was refreshed they did not pay attention to these. No tissues and also no do-not-disturb sign. Rooms are pretty dated and lacking some basic amenities like an area to hang clothes.
