.Inside, bedrooms, with crisp linen and pretty fabrics have views over the gardens -all three rooms feel inviting and calm, and they share a smart bathroom. Sporting fluffy towels and masses of space, the bathroom is sleek and the shower is vast. The spotless, smartly fitted kitchen has all the gear you need. Next-door is a convivial dining room and there's plenty of space to stretch out after a hearty meal on comfy seating in the living room. Or spend light filled evenings with wine and enjoy the fresh air with the living room doors to the patio open. A light-filled conservatory is the perfect spot for morning coffee for a slow start. In the warmer months the gardens explode with rhododendrons and azaleas and birdsong erupts to keep you company.

Sleeps 6 adults, can sleep 8 if a double sofa bed in the study is used for 2 additional children – please request at the time of booking/ additional charge of £50

The house was almost perfect....good size rooms and quality furnishings. I would have been happy to live there permanently! It was also well located for the whole island
