Room is good size and comfort but in the winter, central heating is not working instead with a heater and heating in the toliet is not working, breakfast doesnt feel like good either

Room booked into online was twin doubles in the cottage. When checked in was told now in Redhead suite. Very large lounge area with 1 bed in and separate bedroom with other. New carpet but a few scuff marks on walls and a couple of tatty edges to windows but it’s not rated as 5 star. Decent buffet breakfast and staff were good.

It was so run down and filthy!! Tiles on the ceiling hanging down in the bedroom, cobwebs in the room and the previous person hairs all over the bath. It was that bad we booked another room somewhere else!! All staff apart from a young lad were rude, aggressive and verbally abusive when asked for a refund. No pool, sauna ect like stated. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The bathroom radiator did not work, so it was really cold in there and there was black mould on the soap dispenser and bath trim. Bathroom overall was very dated. The building is just a bit tired looking and just looks like old offices. It was a bed for the night, which was all I needed. Bed was comfy though and the staff were nice enough and the price was reasonable.

Room as clean and comfy. Blackout curtains were great. Bathroom could do with a bit of updating. Mainly the floor. First impression of reception was that needed updating. But then the receptionist came through and he was very helpful and friendly. Putting hairdryer in room and sorting out the television for us. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cereal , and hot foods I was working in March and husband came with me. I would stay again. Value for money.

Outdated rooms and quality

The rooms were clean and big, but very outdated. The bathroom finishing especially was not up to standard, with quite a lot of repairs required. The bathtub kept leaking after every shower. The shower settings were not clear or easy to use. They also did not provide any water to drink, which I would’ve thought was a basic need.
