I highly recommend Hostel El Gallo for anyone who is looking for a quiet stay in a clean room in the heart of Old Town without breaking the bank. The room is clearly has been recently renovated. The bathroom is all stone and the shower features both a falling water shower and a handheld shower hand. I would say the body wash was good but shampoo not so, and no hair conditioner. The room features a double size bad. It was comfortable to sleep. Usually comes with one long pillow but more regular size pillow were provided upon request. A very small fridge is provided as well as a tea kettle, tea, cup, wine glass, and a tea spoon. The A/C was present but wasn't working as desired. It was OK'ish for early June but not sure how cool the room is in August. I stayed for 12 nights and didn't regret a bit. The owner is very friendly and clearly was willing to help with any request and was very responsive through WhatsApp. The WiFi in the room was great. The downstairs restaurant owned by the same business is very good. Make sure to try very tender pork cheeks 😋

Great place to stay

Had a really lovely stay, Antonia was so accommodating. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t get there until nearly midnight but that was fine. We were at at wedding the next day and I lost my keys and Antonio got up out of his bed to let us in- sorry Antiono but thank you for being so helpful. The apartments are are the most beautiful street filled with plants and flowers only 10 min walk to the beach and near to lots of bars and restaurants

The area where this property is is typical, authentic and beautiful Spanish neighbourhood. Ten minutes walk to the beach and the centre. The property itself is EXCEPTIONALY clean. Everything is brand new. I was very surprised to find that there is a fridge in my room, coffee/facilities and a small terrace area. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I was humbled. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fantatstische plek om de historische binnenstad van Marbella te bezoeken. Echt een aanrader. Wij waren met een huurauto en het einge nadeel is dat je die in de omgeving slecht kwijt kan. Verder een prima verblijf gehad.
