The location and resort were good and the restaurant was excellent. It was nice to have live music onsite. As for the room, it could have been better. I was there for a five-day stay and they could not get the TVs working for me even though they came multiple times to resolve the issue. Also, the Wi-Fi was not dependable and sometimes it would work only in the bedroom area, not in the main area. The lock on the sliding door did not work but that was resolved during my stay. The front door had to be closed hard to get that door to lock properly. After looking at previous reviews, these same issues were noted before, so these issues were not new and had not been resolved before. In talking to the property representative, she said she was going to contact the owner to get a credit made back to me due to not resolving issues over the five-day stay but a credit was not given. With this, as I saw in another review, I recommend booking a room directly with Shipjack Resort rather than through a owner through a third party.
