Dirty Sheets will make anyone second guess their VRBO choice
1st disappointment: I pulled the covers down on the upstairs bed to go to sleep and noticed what looked like blood stains and hair on the sheets. I threw them in the wash and since there wasn't another set of sheets, I ended up sleeping between different coverlets. After washing the sheets and finding them to be clean - it was obvious that the sheets just weren't laundered. Yuck!!!!
2nd: There were no towels in the upstairs bathroom.
3rd: There were little to no cleaning supplies for dishes. Which is I guess why so many of the dishes were dirty.
4th: Netflix didn't work.
5th: There wasn't any kind of communication on the app or in the house that explained anything or welcomed us to the home. We were pretty much left to just figure things out, which is just unwelcoming and frustrating.
6th: When I called Vacasa to get help with all of the above they didn't even acknowledge my complaint about the sheets/dishes. They also told me that everything I needed to know about the TV, etc. was in the app or email that I got. (It wasn't.) They are obviously a large company and not local but are running a bunch of local vacation houses in the area. My first suggestion would be for the home owner to work with a different company.
The handyman that Vacasa sent to help was super friendly and brought us towels and sponges and tried to fix netflix (but to no avail).
Besides that - we still had fun but will not use Vacasa again.
