Hollis

Cleanliness is my top priority and this hotel got top ratings for that. Our air conditioner was very noisy, which led to some interrupted sleep but it was cool and the bed comfortable. Staff was great and the price very reasonable. I’d stay again and just hope for a different room and AC.

This is a budget hotel so expectations were not high. Just needed a place to rest during travel. Room had an odor when we walked in. We turned up the ac hoping that would help. The shower curtain smelled horrible. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, it was nice and quiet, and easy off and on to the interstate.

Fine for a short stay!

Hotel was about what you might expect at this price range, building was a bit run down. We only stayed one night and it was fine. Owner (at least I believe he was the owner) was very nice and accommodating. Hotels.com stated that breakfast ended at 9:30 but it ends at 9. He let me into the breakfast room to grab coffee and cereal. After we checked out, we thought we had left a bag in the room. I called about it and left a message; a few hours later he called back to say they didn’t find it. We ended up finding it later in our car trunk but appreciate d the call back!

This property served a purpose of giving me a bed to sleep on and a hot shower. Though, the rooms were not well kept and slightly dirty. Breakfast was not the best by any means. And the staff takes forever to understand.
